One week in Angers
For the 2nd year in a row, a month after the beginning of the year and 2 weeks after the welcome weeks, the new students of the MAN-IMAL Master’s degree “From Animal to Man: Analysing and Managing Health and Food Risks“ spent a week in Angers, combining classes at ESA and visits
After a welcome coffee with some of the professors and members of the MAN-IMAL support team, as well as the customary photo shootings for the class’ “who’s who”, the students started their classes with the Production chains teaching unit, taught by Sébastien Couvreur.
Part of of the week was dedicated to a team work on the place of husbandry in society.
Two visits allowed students to discover important places for research and lifestyle in Angers:
- The bacteriology laboratory of the Angers university hospital, with Matthieu Eveillard and Chetaou Mahaza, both teachers in the Biological and chemical risks Teaching unit,
- The Vigne en ville association and its vineyard a few km from the city centre.
We would like to thank you the organizing team for their work - an experience both appreciated by the professors and by the students!
